Q - What is Coach.Vegas Academy?

 

Coach.Vegas Academy (CVA) is a sports academy that focuses on college development and professional training programs for middle school, high school and college level athletes.  CVA is headquartered in Las Vegas and is open to all players interested in training and development.

 

Q - Why choose Coach.Vegas Academy?

 

More than just coaching and training, CVA is focused on giving its athletes a competitive edge when they play against top competition in front of college recruiters and professional scouts.  CVA is a vehicle to develop its athletes to become more succesful in whatever sport they focus on.  

 

Q - What are the benefits of playing for Coach.Vegas Academy?

 

CVA athletes are trained and tested to understand where they rank at each level so they know where they need to be and what they need to do when they are presented in front of college recruiters and professional scouts.  Further development includes college game plan talk, athletic scholarship plans, and true and honest evaluations of the athlete’s talent.  

 

Q - Who are the Coach.Vegas Academy coaches?

 

CVA is staffed with top, local coaches based in southern Nevada.  Each coach has extensive coaching and training experience, including some being former college and professional baseball players and current and former professional scouts.

 

Q - When does the Coach.Vegas Academy season begin?

 

CVA is offered year round.  Most of the training is held on weekends with certain holidays off.

 

Q – Where is Coach.Vegas Academy training held?

 

CVA training is currently held weekly at various high schools, colleges, parks and other facilities in Las Vegas and Henderson. Additional training clinics will be offered for hitting, pitching and weight training.  Scholarship training and professional draft pick training will also be available. Schedules will be provided on the www.Coach.Vegas website with training session, player level, location and time information.

 

Q - What tournaments and events will Coach.Vegas Academy participate in and where are they held?

 

CVA participates in select games and tournaments that provide maximum scouting and recruiting exposure for players.  CVA also provides existing teams with additional coaching/training and staffing support to promote their team programs.  

 

Q - Will joining Coach.Vegas Academy affect a player’s high school standing?

 

CVA training is not intended to interfere with any high school, summer, or fall athletic season or event.  The goal is to provide primary and supplemental training for all players in all sports depending on the athlete's needs and demands.

 

Q - What is the cost to be part of Coach.Vegas Academy?

 

There is no membership required to participate with CVA.  There is a fee for each training session.  Players can pick and choose which training sessions they want to participate in.  Players are not required to purchase any uniforms.  Players are required to bring and use their own basic athletic performance equipment depending on the player's sport, such as athletic shoes, cleats, rackets, bats, gloves, and catcher's gear.  Other training equipment will be supplied by CVA.
