MISSION & PURPOSE 

 

Our Mission  - King at the Plate Ltd is a registered 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization that helps Las Vegas student-athletes reach the next level of competition by providing experience, training, resources, and opportunities to help them achieve their personal best.

 

Our Philosophy - Players face difficult physical and mental demands throughout the course of the long season.  Our goal is to educate and inspire athletes in their journey toward greatness in competition and overall wellness in life, and foster the characteristics and skills that will enable them to overcome these many challenges.

 

Our Vision - Participants will commit themselves to the values and practices we teach.  As a result, they will excel athletically with a minimum of injuries or pain, and improve their overall quality of life through better nutrition, exercise and mental fortitude.

          KATP Summer Tournament Baseball Series Program - Our KATP Summer Tournament Baseball Series Program is a Summer tournament game series with specific events selected to maximize our players' exposure in front of recruiters and professional scouts.  Participants in these tournaments are a hand-selected group of All-Star players in around the Las Vegas Valley that are seeking opportunities to obtain college scholarships.  To be a part of the All-Star Team, significant consideration is also given to the player's grades, citizenship, and sportsmanship.

 

          KATP Player Scholarship Program - Participants in our KATP Player Scholarship Program are high school student-athletes who have proven their motiviation and track record both on the field and in the class room.  Unfortunately, due to financial restraints on their family, these players are not able to participate in out-of-state tournaments and showcase camps that offer them better opportunities for exposure and to obtain college scholarships.  The KATP Player Scholarship Program was developed to help these players with costs towards uniforms, equipment, entry fees and travel.
